So, I won't be too active on here for two weeks. There IS internet access, but I don't want to spend all my time on a computer while I'm there. I do that enough when I'm at home, heeee. C8"

That also means that the RAID auditions will be temporarily put on hold. I highly doubt I'll be able to download sound files over there. Probably for the best, since I'm screwing so many of you around about that. .___.; Feel free to make audition tapes for open roles if you still want to (said parts being Rave, Devahn, Theta and Sarone), but I most likely won't be able to hear them until I get back home. _{The animatic will most likely be crap anyway.}

The same goes for commissions. I know there are a few people waiting on funds to commission me, and to those of you: sorry for the inconvenience. ;A;" I might even be able to draw some while I'm over there... but I'll only have tradition media to work with, so no digital commissions will get started until I come home. D8 Feel free to order, though. I might be able to do sketch commissions while I'm there, but, again, they won't get to you until I come home.

I'll miss you guys. ;w;! Hopefully we'll get to talk a little bit while I'm there. I'll be six hours behind UK time, so... wow, I'll be on time with Terry and Izu, I think. An one hour BEHIND you yankee friends. Heh, that's gonna be weird. owo;;

Now, about the RAID auditions.

... ooohhhh boy.

This... turned out to be a much bigger ordeal than I had expected. 8D;;;

Some auditions were fantastic. Others were... well. My soul has a few cracks in it now, I will be honest.

But! After much grueling effort, I have to a decision for who will take the roles of the characters. Without further ado, here is the list so far:

Andrew Miklós:
Oni, your voice was... surprisingly close to how I hear Andy. owO; A very pleasant surprise! Especially for how you handed his lines. In that you were one of the only people who DIDN'T make him sound like a whiny little kid, teehee. Next time we get a chance to talk, bug me to give you some more directing so we can get this just right.

Alex Thornton:
I hope you'll accept my decision, Blake, because your audition for Alex was just wonderful. Your voice suits him pretty much to a T, and the emotion you gave his audition will be perfect for what I have in mind for the animatic. Thank you very much for your help.

Celcia Finetta:
Despite having only heard a short audition tape from Chi, I have heard her voice acting before, and I greatly enjoy the range and emotion she can put into her acting. Just from hearing the quality of her voice, I knew it would suit Celcia well, so it was unanimous.

Cody Marr:
Once again, an immediate decision. Zyggy's accent, attitude, and quality of voice for Cody was just spot on, and it makes me excited to hear what he'll do for the animatic script itself. Once again, a pleasure to work with the man.

Lt. Guinez:
... All those who auditioned for Guinez will probably hate me for this, but, there was a good reason I urged Mali to audition, and that was the fact that her voice suits the character so damn well. At the end of the day, that is what matters most. And Mali kicks ass at voicing Guinez. Suh'there.

Raxy Mitura:
Right, okay, before people start flying off the handle at me about this decision...

I did go to others with my OWN audition tape to see what they thought, so it wasn't just my own opinion that was accounted for in this decision. I think my biggest mistake was mentioning in the description that I would choose Richard Steven Horvitz to play Raxy, because people seemed to then immediately couple his age with Invader Zim, and... well, every other part of the description went out the window. 8D; Even when I HAD said that Raxy does NOT yell, I got my ears blasted in every audition tape. I even have a ref sheet for him in my gallery. So... nice try guys, but I'll take it from here.

Again, another very popular part. The auditions for Mei were great, and I had a hard time choosing, but Terry just seemed to click with the role. She even endeavoured to watch something that frightened her so that she would have the right emotion for the final line! Kudos to her, and thanks.
